With heavy hearts and loads of prayers, BSL BANK family across Lebanon observed a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the terrible explosion that torn Beirut apart a week before.
This nationwide initiative was called upon by the Association of Banks in Lebanon to remember the victims of the blast and to express the banking community’s indignation. This horrific explosion destroyed our city and harmed its people, the banking community is no exception. Some colleagues were regrettably among the victims or injured, and several premises were sorely damaged.
What happened to Beirut and its suburbs is a terrible tragedy… May God bless us all, and protect our beloved country that will certainly rise again.
